The Warmer Sussex website is owned and managed by RetrofitWorks Limited, who are the delivery partner behind Warmer Sussex.

What type of information we have

We currently collect and process the following information:

  • Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, name and contact details)

  • Information you give us about your home


How we get the information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for the following reasons:

  • For us to arrange and deliver a Warmer Sussex Whole House Plan survey to you

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful basis we rely on for processing this information is: we have a contractual obligation.


What we do with the information we have

We use the information that you have given us in order to

  • Allocate a Retrofit Coordinator or Surveyor to undertake a Whole House Plan survey

  • Tell you how to pay for your Whole House Plan survey

  • Contact you to arrange an appointment to visit your home

  • To send you your Whole House Plan

  • To contact you to discuss your Whole House Plan

If you provide consent in the registration form, we may share your contact information with Winning Moves. Winning Moves are a research company evaluating Warmer Sussex. You are under no obligation to take part in their evaluation when contacted.


How we store your information

Your information is securely stored in our systems which are located on our premises. All personal data is stored electronically in secure cloud-based systems and may be processed outside the European Economic Area (the European Economic Area being the European Union and Iceland,Liechtenstein and Norway, also referred to as the “EEA”).

We keep your personal information for no longer than 3 years after our relationship with you has ceased. We will then dispose your information by deleting it from our database.


Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

  • Your right to object to processing.

You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances. You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
